Thank you for your interest in our school. Enclosed is a brief outline of our professional Hairdressing diploma course.

Should you choose to join us, you will find that we have created what is perhaps the most thorough and comprehensive Hairdressing course available.

During your first month here, working exclusively with mannequins in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, you will learn the basics of cutting, styling, blow-drying, perming and colouring.

In your second month, you will join our more advanced students on the salon floor. Our highly skilled instructors will assist you as you increase your skill level in every aspect of the profession until you are able to perform high quality salon services confidently and independently. During this main phase of the program, you will learn a wide range of advanced hairdressing skills including: precision haircutting (advanced design and shape), texturizing, multidimensional haircolouring, foiling techniques, advanced texture service techniques, and numerous advanced styling techniques.

Hairdressing theory is taught in a casual classroom setting through lecture, Q&A, with key notes supplied throughout. Our theory instructor holds a Bachelor degree in Education and has over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Our day course takes eight months to complete. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The tuition fee is $7,980.00 (payable @ $997.50 per month). Equipment is a further $1,100.00 plus taxes.
All applicants must meet the minimum requirements as stated in our Enrolment and Admissions Policy. For a copy of this policy, please see the Required Policies Handbook for Students, or visit our website at www.londonschool.ca.

On successful completion of our Hairdressing course will receive a diploma from London School and you will become eligible to take the CIABC exam and receive their Certificate of Qualification for British Columbia, the highest and best recognized qualification available in B.C. at this time.

New courses are starting at the beginning of every month and job placement assistance is available to all graduates.
