Devoted to the success of our students, London School offers the most thorough and comprehensive Hairdressing Program available. We also offer a relaxed, modern and friendly learning environment. Our advanced techniques will have you confident and ready to apply your professional skills immediately after you complete the Hairdressing Program.
Program Length
Our Hairdressing Program takes nine months to complete. Class times are 9:00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. New course starting every month and job placement assistance is available to all graduates.
Tuition and kit fees
$9,810.00 (payable @ $1090 per month).
Equipment is a further $1,250.00 plus taxes.
Requirements
All applicants must meet the minimum requirements as stated in our Enrollment and Admissions Policy.
The first month
During your first month you will be training exclusively with mannequins. We will teach you will the basics of:
- cutting
- blow-drying
- perming and colouring
- styling
Months two to nine
In your second month, you will join our more advanced students on the salon floor. Our highly skilled instructors will assist you as you increase your skill level in every aspect of the profession until you are able to perform high quality salon services confidently and independently. In this main phase of the program, you will learn a wide range of advanced hairdressing skills including:
- advanced texture service techniques
- foiling techniques
- multidimensional hair colouring
- numerous advanced styling techniques
- precision hair cutting (advanced design and shape)
- texturizing
Hairdressing theory is taught in a casual classroom setting through lecture, Q&A, with key notes supplied throughout. Our theory instructor holds a Bachelor degree in Education and has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
The end Result
On successful completion of our Hairdressing Program, you will receive a diploma from London School and you will become eligible to take the CIABC exam and receive their Certificate of Qualification for British Columbia, the highest and best recognized qualification available in B.C. at this time.
