Martin

Martin is responsible for the business and
financial side of the school. He takes care of Administration, Registration and publicity. He has been called upon to participate in numerous committees and boards, locally, provincially and internationally and he has always been a voice for improved working conditions and professional standards in our industry. He is always prepared to offer business advice to past and present
students alike and has assisted many of our graduates through the process of opening successful salons and spas of their own.

An accomplished Aesthetician and Make-up Artist, Alecia has a true passion for Skin Care. Since Graduating as one of our top pupils she has continued to seek out advanced training in any and all aspects of her profession-Podiatry, eyelash extension, Brazilian waxing, piercing, hot stone massage and much more. She is driven to share her comprehensive knowledge with her students. As a make-up artist Alecia is frequently called upon to assist in fashion shows and photo shoots for local magazines. Her strengths are in Organic Skin Care, Spa Treatments and Massage.

Alecia

Kerry

Has basic and advanced training in aesthetics and nail technology and is particularly skilled and creative in the area of nail artistry. In addition to
all of her formal training, Kerry is a tireless student of healthful living and holistic naturopathic practices and treatments for the individual. Kerry is a dynamic communicator and is responsible for all of the theory instruction in aesthetics and nail technology.

Our schools founder , Mandy is an award winning Hairdresser and educator one-of the best established in Canada. In 1988 she was given an award for excellence from the prime minister of Canada.
Beginning her career in London’s fashion district in the 1960’s she has trained with, worked alongside and taught some of our industry’s best known names, Rusk, Sorbie, Sassoon, and many others. She has owned successful salons in London and Vancouver.
She is a specialist in hair-up and precision cutting. When educators from local Film Hairdresser union needed help teaching period styling to their members, it was Mandy that they turned to. After 45years her passion for the industry and for teaching its skills is unparalleled.

Nalisha

As co-leader of our artist team, Nalisha is a
gifted Hairdresser and Make-up Artist. Her particular strengths lie in colour, extensions, weaves and photography make-up. She is regularly called upon to
assist in local fashion and film shoots and she is a successful wedding stylist, the skills she brings to us are varied and valuable. Nalisha is also
responsible for our community outreach, organizing students to visit our local hospices, senior’s homes and gathering places.

Internationally certified instructor and advanced
stylist, Rosa Harris has been in our industry for 25years . She has spent years travelling as an educator and platform artist for various internationally recognized product manufacturers and we are thrilled to have her join us at
this time in her career . Rosa is responsible
for teaching the theory aspects of the program along with helping to run the salon floor.

Silvanna

 Sylvana is an accomplished Barber with 27years of
experience. She is the latest member of her family to take up a trade that has, over generations, become a family tradition and she has owned and operated her
own shop for over 20years. She is also a qualified Hairdresser with advanced training from some of the words most recognised educators and she is able to
blend Old School Barbering techniques with modern Dimensional Cutting. Her strengths are precision cutting, clipper cutting and straight razor shaving.

 Zora trained and worked in Europe and was a
successful salon owner for much of her career before coming to Canada. She takes responsibility for guiding our new students through the beginning
phase of their program and preparing them for the salon floor. Her strengths are in up-do’s and precision cutting and she brings a practical knowledge of
salon management and business practice that is invaluable to our graduate students planning to open a business of their own.

Lorena

Lorena’s first responsibilities are to
make sure that everything runs smoothly on our salon floor, to maintain student records and to co-ordinate our student photo shoots. Her qualifications in marketing and Fashion management coupled with her expertise in hairdressing make her a invaluable addition to our administrative staff. Lorena has worked as both a hairdresser and a fashion stylist on videos and fashion shoots and in the past she has played a pivotal role in Vancouver Fashion Week.
